Hallis Mailen – Hunger Strike, Day 61 – 6 Interview Topics

Hallis Mailen – Hunger Strike, Day 61  – August 15th, 2011

This is the 61st day of Hallis Mailen’s hunger strike for the solidarity movement, veterans rights, the social security administration, the homeless, the unions, and a request for intervention in the workings of Wisconsin politics.  Hallis was interviewed 2 days ago and his mood was rather dour.  After being rained on and his support haphazard, he felt that his efforts would be for naught.  The interview conducted this evening on his 61st day went much better.  His inner strength has rebounded and he was much more prepared to lend his voice for the Solidarity of his cause.

The first five interviews are speaking to President Obama, his wife, and the politicians that work with him.  The sixth is for his supporters and those that should.

He is just waiting for a call from you, Mr. President to assure him that the Veterans Administration and the Social Security Administration live up to their promises and the original intent of their founding.  You will be having a three day tour through Iowa and the Midwest.  Madison, WI welcomed you warmly the last time you were here and to save a life,  I am sure at least one man would welcome your presence or a phone call from you.

Here are his messages to you Mr. President.

The first is his plea for an audience with you either in person or by phone.

The second is for you, Mr. President, to engage the Veterans Administration and have them live up to their promises.

The third segmet offers suggestions for you to fix the Social SecurityAdministration’s mismanagement.

The fourth asks you to hold accountable the corrupt and ineffectual politicians along with the exceptionally rich citizens of the United States and their business practices.

The final words Hallis has for you Mr. President, is his request that you intervene in the Wisconsin government in the name of Solidarity for the people of the state.

This final chapter on his 61st day of his hunger strike is for his supporters and those who should be.

I will be seeing Hallis again in a few days.  If you have any follow-up questions you would like me to ask of him, please submit those through the Coverage Requests and Contact Form tab found on this site.

To all the readers of this posting, pass this message along far and wide so that it will resound off the walls of the White House just like the Solidarity Singers do in our own Capitol of Madison, WI.  Make sure that the President cannot deny that he has never heard of Hallis Mailen.
